How to Get Apple TV Plus on Your Google Chromecast with Google TV

Today, Apple launched its streaming service Apple TV Plus alongside iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 5 at their annual iPhone event. If you own one of Google’s smart TVs or use Chromecast, you might be wondering how to get Apple TV Plus on your Chromecast. Luckily, we have the answer for you! Here’s how to get Apple TV Plus on your Google Chromecast with Google TV.

What is an Apple TV?

Apple TV is a streaming device that allows you to watch your favorite shows and movies on the big screen. For years, it has been the go-to device for binge watching entire seasons of Netflix originals. But this service may be coming to an end: Earlier this year, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki announced that the next evolution of YouTube would be dedicated solely to paid subscriptions and original content produced by brands.

Apple’s own video service is called Apple TV Plus. The cost for this service begins at $4.99 per month for one single app: Disney+ which will have exclusive rights starting December 12th, 2019, and includes a variety of original Disney productions as well as all 26 seasons of The Simpsons! Apple TV Plus features three pricing tiers that are competitively priced in comparison to other streaming services.

To get Apple TV Plus on your Google Chromecast, follow these steps:

1) Download the YouTube Premium app from the Google Play Store onto your mobile phone or tablet

2) Connect your mobile device to the same WiFi network as your Chromecast

3) Click the cast button in both apps to connect them

4) Select Apple TV in the YouTube Premium app

5) You’ll see a pop up window asking if you want to start your free trial for Apple TV Plus

6) After accepting, click yes and start streaming from anywhere! This guide should provide any necessary information for those who already have their hands on a Chromecast and want to utilize Apple TV Plus’ catalog of great content. If you’re considering purchasing either the third tier (at $12.99 per month) or the fourth tier (at $14.99 per month), remember that they both include access to HBO Now, Showtime, STARZ, Cinemax, and more! All in all, there’s no better time than now to subscribe to Apple TV Plus through Chromecast!

What Is an Android Device?

Android devices are a powerful and flexible platform for building mobile apps. With just a few clicks, you can start testing your idea right away. Whether you’re new to the world of Android development or an experienced veteran, our tools make it easy to build and publish the next big thing! To help jump-start your Android development process, here are four useful Android tools that can improve your workflow. There’s no shortage of great apps in the Play Store. It’s hard to know which ones will really make your life easier, so I’ve compiled this list of my favorites based on what I use daily.

Zoodles (free) – Zoodles is my go-to app when I need access to a network quickly without having to fiddle around with cables and routers. All you have to do is input the desired SSID and password into Zoodles’ app, then hit connect. You’ll be connected in seconds! When searching for apps on Google Play, there’s always one or two that seem like they would be perfect but are either overpriced or have only been released recently.

These apps typically offer a free trial period though. So instead of shelling out cash up front, why not try them out first? One nice thing about trials is that if the app doesn’t work well for you there’s no risk involved because they’re free anyways. And if they do work well? Then hey – it was worth it.

What is a Google Chromecast?

A lot of people use their smartphones or tablets to watch streaming video, but there are also devices that you can buy that will allow you to stream media from the internet directly onto your television. You may have heard of a device called a Chromecast. A Chromecast is a small device, much like a thumb drive, that plugs into the HDMI port on your television set. Once plugged in, you plug it into your WiFi network and use an app for Android or iOS devices to connect it.

From there, you open up any video in a compatible app on your phone and tap the Cast button (usually at the top of the screen). That’s all there is to it! You’ll see a prompt asking which device you want to cast the video too, so just choose your Chromecast and you’re good to go.

The next time you come across a video that has Chromecast compatibility, this should be the first thing you try. There are some apps out there that don’t support casting though, like HBO GO and Showtime Anytime, but many do including Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube Red, and Amazon Prime Video among others.

 Set Up the Devices

There are a few steps to this process, but once the devices are set up, you’ll be ready for the next time that your movie choice isn’t available on a particular device. Just follow these instructions:

* Plug in your Google Chromecast. * Plug in your apple TV and plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI port of the Google Chromecast. * Turn both devices on and wait for them to connect. The green light will blink until they’re both ready. * Select either Mirror or Cast screen depending on which you need; if you need mirroring, select Mirror.

If you want content from your phone’s screen to be shown via a projector or monitor, cast the screen; if not, use mirroring instead. To cast your screen, open the appropriate app on your iPhone and tap AirPlay. Make sure that Wi-Fi is turned on for both devices as well as Bluetooth.

You should see your current streaming options within the app window; just tap AirPlay again to toggle it off. Once you’ve done so, swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal Control Center and tap AirPlay again. From there, choose Google ChromeCast under Available Devices at the bottom of the menu bar . Tap on the name of your Google Chromecast and then click on Pair.

A six digit code will appear on your TV screen. Type that code into the dialog box in order to finish pairing the two devices together. At this point, you can disconnect both devices from power sources and unplug any cables connected between them.

Now, whenever you want to watch one of your favorite programs on your Chromecast, just make sure that the program is playing on your iPhone (or iPad). Open the show or episode in question and tap AirPlay at the bottom right corner of the playback window. Choose Google ChromeCast as an option from among those listed (your other devices won’t show up here) and hit Play.

Stream iTunes Movies on the Google Chromecast

In this post, we’ll share an easy way to stream iTunes movies and shows onto your Google Chromaptor. Here’s what you need a desktop or laptop computer with iTunes installed, a Google Chromecast device, a network connection between the two devices (Wi-Fi or Ethernet), and an HDMI cable to connect the two devices together.

1.Connect the Chromecast to your television set’s HDMI input port

2.Turn on the television set and select the appropriate input source

3.Plug in both devices into power outlets for operation (optional)

4.Download and install the Google Home app from either the iOS App Store or Android Play Store

5.Install Google Cast extension for Chrome browser . Open the Google Chrome web browser and type chrome://extensions in the address bar. From there, locate Google Cast – Media Player by scrolling down until you see it. Click Add to Chrome and then click Add Extension.

6.Restart your PC/Mac computer

7.Go back to your account setup window on Apple TV and make sure that under TV Provider, Netflix is selected as shown below: Selecting the right provider will ensure that when using Google Chromecast, you are able to cast content from your Mac or Windows PC to the TV screen wirelessly. For example, if you want to watch House of Cards on Apple TV via streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, but don’t have access yet because it’s not available in your country yet; just follow these steps.

A browser tab will open with a code next to ready. Copy and paste this code into Safari browser of Apple TV. It should now prompt that mirroring has been enabled for screen sharing between any iPhone, iPad or Mac device connected through AirPlay with your chromecast plugged into an HDTV. And voila! You’re all set up!
